The Size 06 interchangeable orifice is the largest flow rating in the T2/TE2 series, developed specifically for large evaporators, high-capacity cold rooms, or refrigerated display cases with high heat absorption. It allows the thermostatic valve to be calibrated to handle high refrigerant flow rates without having to install bulky valve bodies or make structural modifications to the line. The micrometric machining of the brass and stainless steel surfaces minimizes wear from cavitation and erosion caused by high refrigerant flow, while the basket filter at the base traps sludge, copper residues, or line debris, preserving the hermetic seal.
