The combination of the larger body diameter (Ø 73 mm x 174 mm) and 1/2″ connections ensures excellent liquid flow rate with minimal pressure drop, making it ideal for systems with long lines or significant thermal loads. The 100% molecular sieve (3Å) core offers the highest hygroscopic capacity available on the market, absorbing residual moisture before it can chemically react with synthetic oils (POE/PAG), thereby preventing the onset of corrosive acidity and the freezing of the thermostatic valve’s flow path.
The solid sintered structure prevents the desiccant material from crumbling due to vibrations or pressure surges, while the internal filter screens trap brazing residues, metal fragments, and particulates before they enter the rolling mill.
