Maximum Thermodynamic Stability for Evaporators with High Pressure Drop
Unlike internally equalizing valves, the Refrigerant Boys TEN2 series features an external pressure equalization line (1/4″ SAE Flare), making it indispensable for systems equipped with liquid distributors, extended evaporator coils, or circuits with significant internal pressure drops. By sensing the actual pressure at the evaporator outlet, the valve instantly compensates for internal pressure drops within the coil, preventing delayed valve openings, thermal oscillations (hunting), and dangerous liquid slugging back toward the compressor.
