R407H refrigerant gas (Daikin), available in various cylinder sizes, has a GWP of 1495. It was developed as a cost-effective retrofit solution to replace R404A and R507 in commercial and industrial refrigeration (supermarkets, cold rooms). While guaranteeing performance similar to legacy gases, its GWP places it in an intermediate range: the impact of the new tax adjustment will be significant, but much more contained compared to the unsustainable costs that will hit R404A.
