“The refrigerant gas R407H (Daikin), available in cylinders of various sizes, has a GWP of 1495. It was developed as a cost-effective retrofit solution to replace R404A and R507 in commercial and industrial refrigeration (supermarkets, cold rooms). While guaranteeing similar performance to older gases, its GWP places it in an intermediate range: the impact of the new tax adjustment will be noticeable, but definitely more contained compared to the unsustainable one hitting R404A.”
