Maximum Evaporation Stability and Thermal Glide Control for New Refrigerants
The Refrigerant Boys TE2 series thermostatic valve is designed to precisely control environmentally friendly transition refrigerant blends with thermal glide, such as R448A and R449A. The integration of a 1/4″ SAE external pressure equalization port allows the valve to detect the actual pressure at the evaporator outlet, eliminating the impact of internal pressure drops within the heat exchanger or liquid distributor. This mechanism prevents unstable oscillations (hunting), optimizes heat exchange in the coil, and protects the compressor from dangerous liquid slugging.
