“The refrigerant gas R407F, a zeotropic blend available in cylinders of various sizes, has a GWP of 1825. It is widely used in commercial refrigeration (supermarkets, cold rooms) as an effective retrofit solution to replace R404A and R22. Although it offers superior energy efficiency compared to old-generation gases, its GWP remains high: this exposes it to a considerable tax impact with the entry into force of the new F-Gas adjustments, making purchase planning urgent.”
