The Castel solid cartridge dehydrator filter sets the standard for liquid line purification in modern refrigeration systems. The high-density solid core is shaped to firmly trap water molecules present in the circuit, preventing the formation of aggressive acidic compounds and protecting both the thermostatic valve orifice from internal freezing, as well as the compressor’s mechanical components from chemical corrosion.

The sturdy steel construction, featuring hermetically sealed welds and a protective coating, allows for safe operation up to 45 bar, making the filter compatible even with refrigerants that have high condensing pressures. The 3/8″ SAE threaded flanged fittings allow for a quick, clean connection with a perfect mechanical seal, without the need for on-site brazing.
