“The refrigerant gas R407C, a zeotropic blend available in various formats, has a GWP of 1774. Historically used as a substitute for R22, it is still widely present in commercial and industrial air conditioning and older large chillers. Due to its high global warming potential, it falls among the gases heavily penalized by the new tax adjustment: the cost of recharging existing systems will undergo a significant increase, making stock planning a critical factor.”
