Therefore: the owner or other natural or legal person who exercises effective control over the technical functioning of the products and equipment.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\"><b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Which equipment is involved?<\/b> The equipment covered by the regulation is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"4\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\"><span class=\"citation-597 citation-end-597\">stationary refrigeration equipment;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\"><span class=\"citation-596 citation-end-596\">stationary air-conditioning equipment;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,2,0\"><span class=\"citation-595 citation-end-595\">stationary heat pumps;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,3,0\"><span class=\"citation-594 citation-end-594\">stationary fire protection equipment;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,4,0\"><span class=\"citation-593 citation-end-593\">refrigeration units of refrigerated trucks and trailers;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,5,0\"><span class=\"citation-592 citation-end-592\">electrical switchgear<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">What are the obligations for operators?<\/b> First of all, it is important to clarify that the company or entity acting as the &#8220;operator&#8221; of equipment containing F-Gases <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"165\">is not required to register<\/b> in the Registry or be certified. What they must certainly do is the following: for the operations of <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"294\">installation, maintenance, repair, service and decommissioning<\/b> of equipment containing F-Gases, as well as for <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"405\">leak checking<\/b> and recovery of the F-Gases contained therein, operators are obliged to:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"6\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6,0,0\">use their own personnel registered in the registry and in possession of a certificate or<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6,1,0\">contact certified persons or companies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">ATTENTION!<\/b> It is therefore the <b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"31\">operator&#8217;s responsibility<\/b> to verify that the operations have been entrusted to appropriate subjects and to verify that the operations have been completed (leak checks, recordings)!<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Activities for which a license is NOT required:<\/b> \u2013 RESALE OF F-GAS TO THIRD PARTIES \u2013 FIRST CHARGE SYSTEMS (MANUFACTURER\/PRODUCER\/OEM) \u2013 EXPORTER OF F-GAS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"1\"><b data-path-to-node=\"1\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Refrigerant Gas Market Update 2026<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">In recent years, with the consolidation of the new <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"51\">Regulation (EU) 2024\/573<\/b>, we have been witnessing a progressive and marked increase in the prices of HFC gases and certain HFO blends.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">This dynamic is caused by the drastic reduction of GWP (Global Warming Potential) quotas imposed by the European Commission and the strategic choice of several manufacturers to limit the placement of HFCs on the European market.
